The WiTEC network
co-ordinated a program of several short courses for
women, which covered areas including IT updating for
women returners, multimedia courses for women, Mentoring,
Positive personal attitudes and IT and flexible working.
The courses were carried out in several European countries
and were therefore the ideal opportunity for the transfer
of best practice in training, in particular in training
women in IT. WiTEC has produced the European Guide
of Best Practice in Educational Training, which details
all the courses and gives an overview of the program.
