SEIN, Social Economic Institute, is an interdisciplinary research institute of the University Centre of Limburg. We conduct policy-supporting research into social and socio-economic subjects, e.g. equal opportunities, gender-based research. Furthermore, we organise training and educational programs, often aimed at specific female focus groups such as women in managerial positions, women in politics and self-employed women.

SEIN represents WiTEC BELGIUM. In the future, we are planning to set up a network for women active in science, engineering and technology. Furthermore we will undertake projects based on this subject.
